WWW Wednesday! January 23, 2019

Hi everyone and Happy Wednesday! I hope everyone is having a great week!!
WWW Wednesdays is a weekly meme hosted by Sam at Taking on a World of Words. Here’s how it works: all you need to do is answer the following three questions and link back to her, or you can put your answers in the comments on her blog!

The three WWW questions are:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Currently, I’m reading:

The Alice Network by Kate Quinn*

*Popsugar 2019 Challenge Prompt: a book that should be made into a movie

Call Me Evie by J.P. Pomare

The One and Only Ivan by Katherine Applegate, illustrated by Patricia Castelao

Since last week I finished reading:

Jane Doe by Victoria Helen Stone* (5 Stars)

*Popsugar 2019 Challenge Prompt: a book with a two-word title

The Care and Feeding of Ravenously Hungry Girls by Anissa Gray (4 Stars)

Until the Day I Die by Emily Carpenter (5 Stars)

Next, I plan on reading:

Lilac Girls by Martha Hall Kelly

Last Breath (Detective Erika Foster #4) by Robert Bryndza

Well, that’s what my reading has been like since last week! How about yours? What good books are you reading this week or have you recently finished? What wonderful books do you plan on reading next? I’d love to hear what you’re reading so I can have more ideas for my ever-growing TBR pile! 🙂 Have a great week!!

    1. Thanks, Laurel! I’ve heard so many great things about it and had it so long, that it’s time to read it before her newest book comes out. You too! And thanks for sharing your WWW post!

  1. I am reading Watcher in the Woods, The Relic, and hopefully starting The Ensemble today. Just finished and liked The Night Olivia Fell, Talk to Me,(fantastic commentary on our society today btw) and Verses for the Dead. I am anxious to see what you think about The Lilac Girls and The Alice Network. Have a great Wednesday!

    1. I’ll have to check out Talk to Me, that sounds interesting. I just read The Huntress and loved it, which made me immensely want to read The Alice Network, which I’m loving so far. Dorie keeps telling me I’ll enjoy The Lilac Girls since we have similar tastes in WWI and WWII historical fiction, and I’ve owned it for so long that it’s time to read it, plus it has such good reviews! I especially need to read it with her newest book coming out. Have a great Wednesday too!
